Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our team focused on geospatial analysis, data processing, visualization, and AI-enabled solutions using modern cloud technologies and ArcGIS Enterprise.

You will work alongside experienced engineers on mission-critical systems, building your skills in software development, AWS, AI/ML, and DevOps. This early-career opportunity emphasizes learning, experimentation, and growth within a supportive team.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; four (4) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Fundamentals of software development and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Git or similar source control tools.
• Interest in learning cloud technologies, AI/ML, enterprise software development, and geospatial systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a technical team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications, APIs, and geospatial services.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and implement new capabilities.
• Explore AI and generative AI to enhance applications and automate workflows.
• Gain experience integrating AI models and services via APIs into software and workflows.
• Learn how applications integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled services.
• Work with AWS and cloud-based development and deployment environments.
• Use Git and modern development workflows to manage and collaborate on code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot software issues and improve performance and reliability.
• Gain exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, containers, APIs, AI-assisted development, and enterprise deployment.
• Work with geospatial data and near-real-time data feeds for mission applications.
