Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an MMRP Senior Geophysicist to join our team. The role focuses on geophysical sensing, survey design, and data processing for munitions response actions across DoD task orders. Travel and field support are expected as part of project execution.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years in MMRP with DoD programs, strong VSP, DGM/AGC experience, and the ability to work independently within a large, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geophysics or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of directly relevant MMRP experience supporting DoD task orders under CERCLA and RCRA.
• Proficiency using VSP.
• Proficiency in DGM and AGC data processing.
• Experience collecting data with DGM and AGC geophysical sensors and positioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Geophysical sensor selection and survey design for munitions response actions.
• Provide technical content during development of project work plans.
• Support field operations and training with limited supervision.
• Prepare technical documents (e.g., memoranda) in support of task orders.
