Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid-Level MMRP Geophysicist to join our team. The role combines field and home-office duties, with travel and growth opportunities toward Data Analyst or QC Geophysicist tracks.
You will work on DoD-related MMRP tasks, using DGM/AGC sensors and advanced positioning systems, reporting to the AGC Technical Manager. Applicants should have NERP/MMRP experience, OSHA HAZWOPER training, and the ability to work independently or within a large virtual team.

This position will report to Tetra Tech's AGC Technical Manager. The position will include a combination of field and home office duties, with the goal of increasing responsibilities as Project Geophysicist, Data Analyst or QC Geophysicist. To be considered, applicants must have directly relevant munitions response industry experience or experience with related geophysical sensors and/or positioning systems. This experience must be specifically identified in your resume or application materials.
Location is flexible within the 48 contiguous states. Home-based work locations are permitted but reliable Internet service is essential. Office-based options are available, if interested. Convenient access to an airport is preferred due to business travel requirements. Candidates should reasonably expect an estimated 40% annual travel requirement, although more frequent travel may be necessary during surge periods.

• Work is regularly performed in variable, challenging terrain (e.g., steep slopes up to 30 degrees, rocky/uneven ground, former volcanic lava flows, soft beach sand, etc.).
• Work is regularly conducted in challenging weather conditions (e.g., high wind, high heat (e.g., 90+ degrees), high humidity and cold/freezing temperatures).
• Field work may include regular exposure to dust, stinging/biting insects, wildlife, poison plants and pollen.
