Job summary

Terracon is seeking a mid-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist to evaluate subsurface data, develop site conclusions, and collaborate with engineering and environmental teams on projects in Raleigh, NC. You will oversee field sampling, interpret soil and groundwater data, and prepare written plans and reports for investigations and remediation efforts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Geology or Hydrogeology with at least 5 years of related experience; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field with at least 5 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and pre-task planning.
• Oversee field testing of soils and sampling.
• Interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater data.
• Prepare written plans and reports on site investigations and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists on projects.
• Assist with proposals and client communications.
