Job summary

Terracon in Colton, CA is seeking a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to lead subsurface investigations, interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater data, and prepare reports for remediation and site assessment projects.

The role requires a BS in Geology or related field with 9+ years of experience; a MS/PhD is preferred. A PG designation and Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status are required, with a valid driver’s license expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field with minimum 9 years related experience.
Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of project-related risk and protect the Company.
Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure compliance with safety rules.
Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
Lead complex projects requiring innovative investigation techniques.
Supervise analysis and form recommendations in written reports.
Establish and update policies/procedures for technical projects in field of expertise.
Provide technical direction and training to less experienced staff.
Participate in development of marketing strategies and client presentations.
Serve as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
