Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geologist to lead high-impact remedial actions for public and private clients. You will guide environmental site assessments, interpret subsurface data, and mentor junior geologists. A PG license is required.

Role focuses on project planning, technical analysis, and collaboration with engineers and environmental scientists in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience and PG license.
• Experience planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects.
• Track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological field investigations, mapping, sampling, and data collection programs.
• Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to develop subsurface models.
• Oversee multi-media sample collection and processing – soils, groundwater, surface water, vapor.
• Prepare and review geological reports, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Operate and maintain remediation facilities.
• Manage data tabulation, environmental data interpretation, and map development.
• Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
• Present findings to senior leadership, clients, or regulatory agencies.
• Train and mentor junior geologists on the team.
