The role requires 8+ years in environmental consulting, with strong regulatory knowledge, leadership, and field experience. Mobility to client sites and valid U.S. driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in geology, geological engineering, civil or environmental engineering with an emphasis in site investigation, remediation design, construction management or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced degree in the same is preferred.
• Current Missouri or Kansas Professional Registration (P.G., P.E.).
• 8+ years (10+ preferred) of relevant experience in environmental consulting, or equivalent.
• Strong track record in client management, business development, and technical leadership.
• Experience with regulatory requirements in MO, IL, KS, OK, AR, NE, IA is preferred.
• Experience with remediation technologies and site investigations.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and deliver results.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Task and project management including planning, budgeting, schedule adherence, client satisfaction, and profitability.
• Performing and managing contaminated site assessments, remedy evaluation and design.
• Site assessment fieldwork and pilot/bench-scale programs for soil, vapor, and groundwater remediation.
• Preparing remediation action plans with drawings, analyses, specifications.
• Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans and proposals.
• Mentoring junior staff and managing subcontractors.
• Business development including bringing in new clients and growth of the Overland Park office.
• Prepare for and participate in client, regulatory, and other meetings.
• Preparing and reviewing written documents and presentations.
• Occasional fieldwork, site visits, contractor oversight, and audits.
