Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geologist to lead high-impact remedial actions for public and private clients. The role involves directing environmental site assessments, interpreting data, guiding field programs, and mentoring junior geologists. A P.G. license is required.

You'll lead project planning, technical analyses, and decision-making, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

  • Education in geology or related field; bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and licensed Professional Geologist (P.G.).
  • Proven experience in planning, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects.
  • Track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Knowledge of industry standards for environmental construction management, QA and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geological field investigations, mapping, sampling, and data collection programs, including environmental site assessments (Phase II ESAs).
  • Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to develop accurate subsurface models.
  • Oversight of multi-media sample collection and processing – soils, groundwater, surface water, vapor, etc.
  • Prepare and review geological reports, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  • Operation & maintenance of remediation facilities.
  • Responsible for data tabulation and management, environmental data interpretation, map development, specification development, remediation design, cost estimating, and report writing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations during field and office activities.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, clients, or regulatory agencies.
  • Train and mentor junior geologists on the team.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Senior Geologist provides advanced geologicalexpertiseto leadhigh-impact remedial actions for both public and private clients.   • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability toidentifyissues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
