Job summary

Ramboll Americas is seeking a geologist to support environmental investigations across PA/NJ/NY areas. You will work with PGs and LSRPs, perform field tasks, data evaluation, modelling, and reporting while collaborating with engineers and scientists.

The role emphasizes mentorship and career growth in a flexible, hybrid environment. You will contribute to Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and design activities, ensuring quality documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or Geological Science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental site investigation and characterization.
• Remediation experience is a plus; possession, eligibility, or interest in PG license and/or LSRP.

Responsibilities

• Execute geologic and site investigations and environmental sampling for Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Remedial Actions, and post-remediation OM&M.
• Provide geologic support for remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water and groundwater.
• Coordinate and manage geologic and site investigation tasks supporting Project Managers, PGs, LSRPs, and engineers; develop technical reports.
• Develop scopes of work and assist planning and implementation of routine soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling tasks.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Geologists, and Scientists; mentor Early-Career Geological Scientists.
