Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a senior Environmental Scientist/Geologist to lead environmental investigations and remediation projects across the Northeast U.S. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee field programs, and review technical deliverables while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Possession or progress toward PG license and/or LSRP.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher; additional OSHA training a plus.
• Strong knowledge of federal, PA, NJ, NY regulations with remediation experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical findings to clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead geologic and site investigations including RI, Feasibility Studies, remedial designs and actions.
• Oversee field programs, data evaluation, and budget tracking.
• Serve as technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders; communicate findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate development and finalization of technical documents and regulatory reports.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff and promote best practices across the team.
