Job summary

Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, INC. seeks an Expert Systems Engineer for contract work in Springfield, VA. Active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph ability are required.

You will work with senior government personnel to identify mission requirements, lead stakeholder engagements, and shape data architectures to support analytic workflow modernization. Responsibilities include developing data standards, evaluating capability insertions, and delivering technical presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• Expert-level experience in DoD/IC Acquisition, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or SOA/Cloud environments.
• Demonstrated expert-level experience of systems engineering lifecycle.
• Data engineering and architecture experience supporting intelligence mission needs.
• Experience advising technical and mission stakeholders to advance objectives.
• Prior experience writing CONOPS or similar technical documentation for a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Identify new and emerging mission requirements with government personnel.
• Lead engagement with mission and technical stakeholders to apply GEOINT systems knowledge and data standards.
• Assist leadership to address cross-project dependencies and integrate modernization efforts.
• Support evolution of the Data Maturity Model and assessment of capability insertions.
• Develop and present data-driven recommendations and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Draft documentation explaining as-is and to-be architectures for the project.
