Job summary

CEdge Inc is seeking a senior Systems Engineer (Expert Level) in Springfield, VA, to lead multi-discipline engineering across NSG/ASG and Federal agencies. The role requires TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain it, and involves guiding requirements, architectures, and integration with cloud and big-data environments.

Responsibilities include leading AoAs/CoAs, providing expert guidance on design changes, and coordinating efforts across government and contractor teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• 18+ years of systems engineering experience in DoD/IC or large complex environments.
• Experience with lifecycle processes, architectures, and cloud environments.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass poly.
• Professional engineer licensure and INCOSE ESEP certification are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering efforts across NSG/ASG and Federal agencies.
• Guide requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability and testing.
• Advise on changes to solution designs based on requirements and new tech.
• Support AoAs/CoAs, trades studies, and risk assessments with Government teams.
• Coordinate integration activities and lead senior/junior contractor engineers.

Education

Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field

Doctorate in Systems Engineering or related STEM field

18+ years in DoD/IC Acquisition/Requirements process

Professional Engineer licensure

INCOSE ESEP certification

Membership in professional orgs (USGIF/OGC/ASCE/ASPRS/ACSM/SAREM)
