Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Expert Systems Engineer for 100% onsite work in Springfield, VA. The role requires leading multi-discipline teams on GEOINT tasks, driving requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and lifecycle management across government programs.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Systems Engineering (or Bachelor’s with extensive experience), 15+ years in DoD/IC environments, and a current TS/SCI clearance with poly or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Systems Engineering with 15+ years of experience or Bachelor's with 18+ years in related fields.
15+ years working experience in government or industry in DoD/IC Acquisition, Requirements, PPBES or large System of Systems.
Demonstrated experience with systems engineering lifecycle.
TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements and solutions engineering across multi-discipline teams.
Plan and trace user requirements, architectures, and automation improvements.
Advise on proposed changes based on analysis and new technology.
Translate mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
Support analyses and allocation of requirements to architecture components and programs.
Lead system integration activities and AoAs/CoAs/Trade Studies.
Guide strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management.
