Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA, to apply multi-discipline GEOINT requirements engineering and systems engineering to modernize the enterprise. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

The role includes creating SEPs, reviewing acquisition documents (RFI/SRR/PDR/CDR), and aligning with NGA mission partners. A master’s degree or 18 years of experience, plus 10 years in DoD/IC contexts, are expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field, or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10 years of experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or large System of Systems.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Maximize GEOINT architecture to support the TCPED cycle.
• Maintain access across CAP/SAP architectures.
• Develop and maintain System Engineering Plans (SEPs) and contractors’ SEMP.
• Prepare acquisition documentation and standard processes (e.g. DOORS).
• Define repeatable processes for transitioning new technologies into PEO infrastructure.
• Support requirement development and documentation.
• Create standards for PEO programs and capabilities.
• Respond to RFIs to identify new technologies for prototyping and transition.
• Assist in evaluating proposed industry solutions (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Contribute to strategic NGA roadmaps and ensure data protection and mission capability.
