Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead and grow our geoenvironmental practice across multiple offices including Bloomfield NJ, Pennington NJ, Columbia MD, Washington DC, and Richmond VA. The role combines technical leadership with business development and client engagement.

Candidates should have 8–10+ years in geoenvironmental/civil/geotechnical consulting, a PE, and proven capability in landfills, remediation, regulatory permitting, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical, geological engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration (required).
• 8+ years of geoenvironmental or related consulting experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geoenvironmental projects, including landfills and remediation sites.
• Provide technical leadership and quality review of designs and reports.
• Support business development and client engagement for market growth.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Mentor staff and contribute to safety and regulatory compliance.
