Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead projects in landfills, remediation, and related systems. You will drive technical leadership, project execution, and client engagement across a disciplined, multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor staff, support business development, and collaborate with offices across the Columbia, DC, Richmond, Pennington, and Bloomfield locations, with travel as needed. A PE license and strong regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of geoenvironmental or civil engineering experience with landfills, remediation sites, or related projects.
• Strong foundation in civil/environmental engineering including earthwork, slope stability, seepage, foundation design.
• Experience in business development, client relationships, or technical leadership to strengthen project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex geoenvironmental projects across landfills, remediation sites, and related systems.
• Provide strategic technical guidance, responsive consulting, and practical solutions to clients.
• Support business development, client networking, and proposal preparation for solid waste clients.
