Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead and grow our geoenvironmental practice in Blue Bell, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. You will apply your engineering and consulting expertise to projects involving landfills, remediation sites, transfer stations, and other geoenvironmental systems, while managing client relations and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical or geological engineering (required).
• Advanced degree in the same field (preferred).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex geoenvironmental projects including landfills, remediation sites and related systems.
• Serve as trusted advisor providing strategic technical guidance and client support.
• Support business development, client relationships, networking, and proposals.
• Oversee project execution from planning through permitting, design, construction, and post-closure monitoring.
• Provide senior technical input and quality review for documents and submittals.
• Lead geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, site evaluations, and monitoring programs.
• Mentor staff and support professional development within the practice.
• Travel to client sites and office locations as needed.
