Qualifications

• A degree specializing in geology or geochemistry, with higher degree preferred.
• Experience analyzing large geochemical datasets with QA/QC, interpretation and reporting.
• Knowledge of mining-related environmental issues and regulations.
• Proficiency with geochemical modeling software (PHREEQC, MINTEQ, GWB).
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ARDML assessments of mine sites.
• Analyze large geochemical datasets and interpret results.
• Predict water quality at mine sites using geochemical software.
• Conduct fieldwork collecting rock, soil, and water samples.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for non-specialists.
• Support project meetings and reporting procedures.
• Perform other duties related to the role as needed.
