Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer/Engineering Supervisor to lead geo-structural design efforts for large-scale energy generation and transmission projects across North America. You will oversee design production, support construction, and interact with key project stakeholders as a team leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Minimum 10 years design experience in geotechnical, transmission, or substation engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision in a small/medium office setting.
• Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers, designers, and support staff, guiding design production and reviews.
• Perform geo-structural engineering tasks using standard techniques and criteria.
• Conduct design analyses for deep foundations and retaining structures using relevant software.
• Model soil and rock stability with limit equilibrium and finite element methods.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, structural, GIS, and construction teams on projects.
• Oversee field subcontractor activities, including drilling and testing.
• Develop written reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure high workmanship and materials.
