Illumina seeks a Senior Clinical Informatics Sales Specialist to drive adoption of clinical informatics products and pipelines for genomic data analysis in the US. You will engage with clinicians, IT leaders and researchers, guiding them through NGS workflows, data interpretation and cloud-based solutions.

You will articulate product fit while delivering proof-of-concept analyses, manage a robust sales pipeline and collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock sequencing opportunities across

Competenze

• Typically 5+ years relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a master’s degree
• Must be willing to travel ~50%
• Experience with sequencing data analysis and interpretation
• Knowledge of clinical applications of sequencing and data formats
• Recognized deep technical expertise in clinical informatics or bioinformatics
• Experience with software toolkits, pipelines and algorithms for NGS analysis
• Knowledge of cloud services and pricing models
• Strong written and verbal communication and training skills
• Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate in a matrixed sales organization
• Commitment to outstanding customer service

Mansioni

• Drive adoption and utilization of Informatics products to grow sales
• Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle
• Discuss data visualization and AI/ML approaches with customers
• Address clinical informatics needs for hardware and software
• Provide proof-of-concept analyses to demonstrate fit-for-purpose
• Partner with third-party providers for end-to-end solutions
• Collaborate with account managers and other sales specialists
• Develop and conduct informatics presentations and demos for customers
• Lead deeper customer assessments and pilots as needed
• Report Voice of Customer to development and marketing teams
• Train the sales team as a sub-regional informatics expert
• Remove informatics barriers to unlock sample volume and growth
