Job summary

Intepros is seeking a Senior Genetec System Administrator to support a global security platform conversion spanning more than 100 office locations. You will perform hands-on programming and administration of Genetec Security Center, Omnicast video management, and Synergis access control, coordinating with local installation teams as needed.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of hands-on experience, Genetec certification at Enterprise level, and strong abilities in device configuration, system

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on physical security system programming experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Genetec Omnicast and Synergis.
• Genetec Enterprise-level certification.
• Strong experience with logical programming, device configuration, system administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale, multi-site physical security environments.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical teams and local installers.

• Administer Genetec Omnicast and Synergis components, including cameras, access control devices, and associated system configurations.
• Monitor sites, configure alarms, and troubleshoot system and device issues.
• Remotely access servers to perform logical programming and configuration in coordination with local installation teams.
• Support the conversion of more than 100 global offices to the Genetec platform.
• Maintain system configurations and follow established security and change management procedures.

This role requires extensive hands-on programming experience with Genetec Security Center, including both Omnicast video management and Synergis access control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for logical device configuration, system administration, troubleshooting, and supporting the global rollout in coordination with local installation teams.

Additional Information

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Important: This role focuses on programming and system administration, not physical device installation. Candidates with video‑only Genetec experience or primarily hands‑on installation backgrounds will not meet the requirements. A bachelor's degree and financial services industry experience are not required.
