Job summary

PowerChampions in the United States seeks a Generator Technician Level III to serve as a senior field resource, providing expert troubleshooting, complex repairs, and on-site leadership. You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with dispatch and parts logistics, and act as the customer’s trusted advisor.

With a Georgia Class II Electrical Contractor License and 8+ years of generator experience, you’ll lead field operations, ensure safety, and uphold OEM and company standards while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience servicing generators, ATS, and switchgear.
• Georgia Class II (Unrestricted) Electrical Contractor License is required.
• Mastery of generator system troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience mentoring or supervising other technicians.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Expert diagnostics and repairs on engines, alternators, ATS, switchgear, and control systems.
• Lead major planned maintenance projects with quality and efficiency.
• Lead system startups and train customers on system operations.
• Mentor Level I and II technicians; serve as escalation point.
• Ensure work meets OEM and company standards; verify documentation.
• Coordinate with scheduling, dispatch, and parts teams for service delivery.
• Serve as field lead contact to ensure customer trust and repeat business.
• Enforce OSHA and NFPA safety standards on all jobsites.
