Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in McLean, Virginia is looking for a Generator Technician to maintain and service generator systems within critical infrastructure. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience with diesel power systems and willingness for 24/7 on-call availability. This technician will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency service calls.

The ideal candidate will be factory trained on major generator brands and have a strong understanding of electric and mechanical safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
• Experience supporting large buildings or industrial facilities.
• Hands-on experience with complex diesel power systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service generator systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Automatic Transfer Switches.
• Conduct routine inspections and modifications.
