Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is searching for a Critical Power Technician to support their mission of providing exceptional customer service. This role embraces installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical power systems including generators and transfer switches.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience with higher voltage Generator Maintenance (CAT, Kohler, Cummins equipment).
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge of diesel-powered generators.
• 3+ years experience in Generator Maintenance.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, start-up, and commissioning of critical power systems.
• Perform diagnostics and repair procedures on all systems.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance on electric power generation equipment.
• Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
• Oversee correction of commissioning issues.
• Test and troubleshoot various sized generators.
