Job summary

Duke Energy in the Charlotte area seeks an expert Program Manager for the Turbine and Generator Services fleet to develop and implement comprehensive programmatic strategies addressing asset performance, regulatory needs, and vendor relationships, solving complex cross-functional challenges.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial analysis to guide multi-year initiatives, interfacing with senior leaders and driving improvements across the RRE fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of related experience, or 18+ years with HS Diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic program management capabilities.
• Strong ability to interpret regulatory language and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess fleet events, industry developments, and regulatory drivers to improve program performance and cost effectiveness.
• Lead development and scoping of new improvement initiatives; communicate results to senior management and stakeholders; secure funding as needed.
• Manage OEM/vendor relationships to meet safety, quality, and financial objectives; identify multi-year cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop routine program assessments; support audits, assessments, and outage preparations; create gap analyses and action plans.
• Influence leaders to adopt consistent standards; engage with industry peers to benchmark practices and drive fleet initiatives.
