Duke Energy’s Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) team seeks a senior program professional to guide fleet-wide initiatives. The role emphasizes engineering leadership, effective cross-functional collaboration, and strategic stakeholder engagement to improve reliability and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate will drive program scoping, develop actionable analytics, and lead multi-year vendor strategies while aligning with fleet standards and governance. Hybrid work options are available near Mt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years related experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree – HS Diploma / GED and 14 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science/Business, or PE License.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate fleet events, industry developments, supplier changes, environmental legislation, regulatory drivers, and strategic direction to identify opportunities to improve performance and cost effectiveness of program strategies.
• Prepare reports, white papers, and/or presentations addressing technically complex and financially significant issues.
• Lead development and scoping of new improvement initiatives across the fleet to maintain compliance with standards and governance.
• Provide technical leadership for the execution of program initiatives.
• Communicate results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Build consensus and secure project approval and funding when appropriate.
• Manage existing and develop new vendor relationships with OEMs and vendors to meet safety, quality, value, financial needs, and warranty considerations.
