Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an experienced Program Manager for Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) in the Mt. Holly/Charlotte area. The role leads long-term service agreements, develops programmatic strategies for the Regulated and Renewable fleet, and interfaces with senior leadership across multiple levels.

The position requires advanced leadership, financial analysis, and strong communication. Hybrid work is expected after onboarding, with travel 15–25% and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years related experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree – HS Diploma / GED and 18 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science/Business, or PE License.
• Strong collaboration/interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Business acumen and ability to interpret regulatory language.

Responsibilities

• Continually evaluate fleet events and industry developments to improve performance and cost effectiveness.
• Prepare reports and presentations addressing complex and financially significant issues.
• Lead development and scoping of new improvement initiatives across the fleet.
• Provide technical leadership for the execution of program initiatives.
• Communicate results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Build consensus and secure project approval and funding when appropriate.
• Manage existing and develop new vendor relationships with OEMs and other vendors.
