Job summary

FlatironDragados seeks an experienced General Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects across multiple sites. You will supervise schedules, coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 15+ years in heavy civil construction, 9+ years as a superintendent, and a Bachelor's degree is a plus. This full-time position carries a strong compensation package and opportunities to mentor talent while delivering

Qualifications

• 15+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 9+ years of superintendent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• STS certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Proven leadership capability and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and schedules for assigned project work.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to set up locations and identify hazards.
• Ensure project work is equipped with necessary equipment and materials to meet budget and schedule.
• Forecast schedules and provide recommendations to mitigate production issues.
• Identify and resolve project risks including construction methods and safety plans; document daily activities and meetings.
• Promote strict adherence to safety and process controls on site.
• Supervise subcontractor production and adjust work schedules or methods as needed.
