Job summary

Shimizunorthamerica is seeking a General Superintendent/Construction Manager to supervise all field operations on a major project. The GS/CM will oversee site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and manage subcontractors and suppliers, coordinating with the Project Manager to lead the project team.

This role requires a strong background in CSA and/or MEP construction methods, extensive experience with cast-in-place concrete projects, and the ability to read drawings and manage daily

Qualifications

• 10+ years as on-site Superintendent/Construction Manager.
• Experience with sitework, concrete, steel, MEP, and interior finishes.
• Experience with cast-in-place concrete and shotcrete preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; DMV checks annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to lead the project team.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly project reports; document status with photos.
• Manage QA and punch list generation with subcontractors.
