Job summary

Westgate Resorts, the world’s largest privately held timeshare company, is seeking an experienced General Liability Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse portfolio of claims from initial notice through resolution. You will work with defense counsel and senior leadership to protect company interests, reduce exposure, and drive fair outcomes.

Strong investigation, negotiation, and decision-making skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience adjusting General Liability claims.
• Bachelor’s degree and professional coursework are preferred.
• Understanding of policy language, ISO forms, and claims practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage general liability claims from initiation to resolution, including litigated files.
• Investigate claims to gather evidence and determine liability and damages.
• Collaborate with defense counsel and leadership to develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Prepare files for mediations, hearings, and trials and represent the company.
• Analyze reserves and review medical records to inform settlement recommendations.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and implement loss mitigation strategies.
• Support Resort Safety initiatives to reduce claim frequency and improve safety.
