AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Specialist for general liability claims nationwide, with potential remote work.

The role handles litigated and non-litigated claims across the United States, emphasizing coverage analysis and risk transfer. The ideal candidate has 7+ years handling bodily injury claims, including 5+ years in commercial general liability, and holds or pursues appropriate licenses and designations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years handling bodily injury claims, with 5+ years in commercial general liability.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong contractual analysis for insurance coverage and risk transfer.
• High level of technical claim and legal knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Adjuster licensing as required; preference for Texas and/or Florida.
• CPCU designation/AIC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize exposures and ensure reserving is accurate and timely.
• Evaluate coverage issues and risk transfer opportunities.
• Ensure proper investigation of the facts, retain experts and counsel as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate with internal and external partners.
• Formulate proper resolution strategies for the best total claim outcome.
• Travel may be required for mediations, trials and related meetings; perform other duties.
