Job summary

CNA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of claims professionals in the General Liability line. You will supervise claim resolution activities, mentor staff, and ensure timely, compliant dispositions in line with company protocols.

You will drive performance by monitoring data, coaching, and collaborating with underwriters, SIU, Recovery Services, and external partners, while managing budgets and focusing on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; typically 7+ years of related work experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Applicable certifications or professional designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work activities of a team of claims professionals; set expectations, coach, and develop staff.
• Ensure claims are handled per company protocols with quality and cost controls.
• Drive customer satisfaction by meeting service targets and promptly addressing escalated issues.
• Maintain compliance with state/local regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
• Monitor data analytics and trends to improve claim outcomes and team performance.
• Collaborate with internal partners (underwriters, SIU, Recovery Services) and external stakeholders.
