The California Newspaper Partnership is seeking a General Ledger Manager to oversee monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations for our Shared Services Center. You will supervise the Ledger Team and ensure GAAP compliance and timely reporting across properties, with close collaboration with FP&A and IT.

Requirements include a bachelor's in finance/accounting, 5+ years of GL experience, 2-3 years of supervisory responsibility, advanced Excel, and experience with Oracle/EPM.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, math or related field.
• 5+ years general ledger accounting experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement close experience.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Oracle and EPM reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise General Ledger Team to ensure timely and accurate close.
• Review and post journal entries; approve payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and schedules for assigned properties.
• Enter and document journal entries in Oracle; obtain required approvals.
• Complete quarterly ICQ and Representation Letter reporting; support PAR responses.
• Assist FP&A with variance analyses and day-7 reports.
