Job summary

EY’s USLI Government & Infrastructure practice seeks a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day‑to‑day GL, AP and expense processes. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations and assist with period‑end closes, audits and compliance.

The role requires 4–6 years in accounting, GAAP knowledge, and Costpoint experience. You will collaborate across finance teams, support internal controls, and help deliver timely, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, including government contracting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and GAAP/FS close processes.
• Experience with accounts payable, general ledger and close activities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger structures and reconcile accounts.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and ensure proper supporting docs.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules on deadlines.
• Assist internal/external audits with documentation and responses.
• Collaborate with finance teams and contractors on reporting.
