Job summary

ImmunityBio is seeking a Senior Accountant, General Ledgers, to manage accounting policies, procedures and controls for general ledgers across the organization. You will prepare journal entries, maintain fixed assets, and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting audits and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 3+ years of experience, with preference for public company and biotech industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• 3+ years of related experience with progressively greater responsibilities required.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and accounting experience required.
• Experience with financial data analysis and preparation of financial reports required.
• Public accounting audit experience is a plus.
• Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for leases, payables/receivables, fixed assets, intangibles, accruals and licenses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures for internal and external use.
• Maintain fixed assets ledger and depreciation calculations, including impairment reviews.
• Stay current with GAAP and assist with implementation of new policies.
• Perform variance analyses on balance sheet and income statement.
• Support ERP implementations and ad hoc projects.
• Ensure SOX compliance across accounting functions.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Assist internal and external audits with documentation and support.
