Job summary

Fulgent Genetics in California is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. You will coordinate with our independent auditors and help ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.

The role requires research into accounting guidance, SOX compliance support, and strong communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with public companies and SOX compliance preferred.
• CPA is highly preferred with experience in public accounting and auditing.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare fluctuations analyses for balance sheet accounts and income statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support SEC reporting and SOX documentation.
• Research accounting guidance and interpret complex transactions for management.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP.
