Job summary

ImmunityBio is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all contractual accounting across the product and service portfolio. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring SOX compliance and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of accounting experience, deep US GAAP knowledge, and strong analytical skills. Life sciences experience and CPA are preferred; this role is based onsite in El Segundo, CA with discretionary bonus and equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA or equivalent preferred; life sciences experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations and reports for accuracy.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances with justification.
• Lead month-end close and ensure SOX compliance.
