Job summary

ImmunityBio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant, General Ledger to maintain the integrity of financial records and collaborate with Clinical Operations and FP&A teams.

This on‑site role in El Segundo, CA offers a broad scope across journal entries, reconciliations, and external disclosures while ensuring SOX compliance and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting and 5+ years of related experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of related accounting experience with progressively greater responsibilities.
• In‑depth understanding and application of GAAP required.
• Experience with financial data analysis and preparation of financial reports required.
• Public accounting audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations for clinical trial accounts, leases, accounts payable/receivable, accrued expenses, and other areas as assigned.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements disclosures for internal and external presentation.
• Maintain GAAP/IFRS knowledge and assist in implementing significant new accounting guidance and policies.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues to less experienced team members.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances and ensure SOX compliance.
