Job summary

VB Spine, LLC is seeking a Sr. GL Accountant to own general ledger activities, monthly close, and financial reporting for U.S. operations within a high-stakes medical device environment. You will ensure compliance with U.S.

GAAP and SOX, support audits, and drive accurate financial results. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and 3+ years of related experience, with CPA and/or MBA preferred. Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Hyperion, Cognos, and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA and/or MBA in Finance preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all GL sub-ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly and year-end close processes and journal entries.
• Ensure SOX compliance and strong internal controls.
• Prepare actual results reporting for Corporate via Hyperion or similar systems.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and capital appropriation process.
• Develop and maintain internal control documentation and policies.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly projections for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Provide business insights and resolve variances; support audits.
