Job summary

DLA Careers seeks a General Engineer to lead and oversee Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) initiatives. You will develop policy, manage planning and budgeting, and provide SME guidance to DLA representatives responding to oversight bodies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with DoD facilities management systems, advising on project execution, and ensuring maintenance and construction activities align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in professional engineering with ABET accreditation.
• Experience applying planning, budgeting, and execution principles to SRM projects.
• Familiarity with DoD facilities management systems and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects.
• Oversees planning, programming, execution, and acceptance of SRM work.
• Provides SME guidance to DLA reps and communicates with OSD and Congress.
• Acts as a functional expert in real property maintenance, repair, and construction.
