Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a strong structural background to support SRM engineering. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test mechanical systems and SRM components.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings; guide DFA/DFX processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design conformance to specifications.
• Lead structural analysis, verification and documentation for motor cases, nozzles, insulation systems and joints.
