Air Force Civilian Service at Joint Base Andrews, Camp Springs, MD seeks a Full-Time General Engineer-GS-0801-14 to lead a high-impact facilities portfolio. The role oversees a senior engineering team and drives modernization across 160+ installations with a multi-billion asset footprint.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in facilities engineering and MILCON/FSRM program leadership, PE or Architect registration, and strong policy collaboration experience with military and defense partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect registration required.
• 6–9 years progressive experience in facilities engineering and program leadership.
• Experience with MILCON and FSRM programs, planning and design, and asset management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work irregular hours as needed.

Responsabilités

• Direct a High-Impact National Portfolio overseeing a $500M+ SRM program.
• Lead and mentor a branch of senior engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Drive strategic facility resilience through modernization and climate-hardening initiatives.
• Coordinate policy with BCEs, AFCEC, HQ AF, and A&E partners to accelerate delivery.
