Job summary

GFA Alabama, Inc. seeks a General Affairs Manager to oversee insurance, risk management, and corporate administration across multiple sites.

You will coordinate with legal counsel, HR, operations, accounting, and vendors to ensure compliance, record-keeping, and efficient facilities management. The role requires 3–5 years in corporate administration or related fields, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with confidentiality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Risk Management, Safety, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate administration, general affairs, compliance, risk management, insurance, safety, facilities management, or a related function preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple departments or company locations preferred.
• Experience working in logistics, warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational, document-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate insurance policies and maintain COIs, including renewals and claims.
• Serve as liaison with outside legal counsel and manage legal documentation.
• Maintain organized records for legal, insurance, and corporate administration.
• Support OSHA and safety program documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee property, facilities, and company assets, including leases and maintenance.
• Manage vendor contracts, procure quotes, and track renewals.
• Assist with audits, ISO 9001 requirements, and policy development.
• Develop reports, trackers, and presentations for executives.
