Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Alabama seeks a seasoned General Manager to drive safety, regulatory compliance and operational performance at the station. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure high service levels for customers at this critical location.

You will build strong relationships with customers and partners while enforcing company policies and governance standards across safety, security and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and multiple years of related leadership roles.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills are required.
• Experience in business development, sales and commercial negotiation & pricing.
• Broad management experience, preferably in aviation or grounding services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for safety and well-being of MA staff and station operations.
• Lead safety, security, quality and training policy adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Develop station budgets and ensure staffing, planning, and scheduling adequacy.
• Direct customer interaction to promote services and measure satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance and governance compliance.
• Establish and maintain safety drills, ERPs and business continuity plans.
• Manage relationships with customers, vendors and stakeholders.
