HomeServices of America in Eden Prairie, MN, seeks an experienced General Ledger Manager to lead the accounting staff through month-end closes and statutory reporting. You will ensure adherence to policies, supervise staff, and partner with management to deliver timely, accurate financial results.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, CPA familiarity, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple tasks while upholding internal controls and compliance standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; CPA helpful.
• Five to eight years of operational accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage operations of the general accounting function. Distribute work to staff, monitor results and resolve discrepancies. Ensure month-end close timelines are met.
• Input monthly journal entries, review accounts payable, commission and general ledger entries, and perform general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and generate monthly financial and variance reports.
• Supervise staff: safety, salary administration, development, counseling, motivation, and performance evaluation.
• Plan, organize, measure, and report the work within the department.
