Magna Exteriors is seeking a Senior General Accountant in Troy, Michigan. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform cost accounting, handle journal entries, and support financial reporting and compliance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience (Solomon a plus), and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced automotive environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and a proven track record with intercompany

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems; Solomon (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare standard monthly journal entries.
• Prepare wire transfer requests for foreign currency vendor payments and record journal entries.
• Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and collaborate with divisions to resolve out-of-balance items.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and record corporate invoices.
• Assist in annual audit and tax packages; prepare Form 1099s.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and assist with month-end close.
