Magna International in Troy, Michigan, is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting team in a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems, with experience coordinating payroll and period-end close.

You will supervise a finance staff, partner with operations, and drive process improvements, internal controls, and accurate financial reporting using SAP and OneStream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Masters preferred.
• 5–7 years manufacturing/accounting experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with SAP, OneStream, and ERP systems.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Analytical and interpersonal skills.
