Job summary

Deloitte in San Francisco is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Forward Deployed Engineer to prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions for clients, embedding with teams to translate business needs into scalable platforms.

You will lead engagements, mentor others, contribute reusable assets, and design architectures across Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Now Platform APIs, while balancing quality, cost, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years software/data/analytics engineering experience.
• 1+ years GenAI/LLM-powered solution delivery experience.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 1+ years writing maintainable, well-documented code.
• Ability to travel ~50% on average.
• 8+ years technology implementation experience.
• 6+ years ServiceNow implementation experience.
• 4+ years of team lead experience.
• Proposal/RFP/sales experience.
• Experience across ServiceNow applications and modules.
• CAD certification.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow GenAI/agentic solutions (Now Assist, AI Agents).
• Familiarity with AI governance tools like ServiceNow AI Control Tower; Moveworks a plus.
• Proven ability to architect scalable ServiceNow solutions across Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, App Engine, Now Platform APIs.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver working AI solutions using industry expertise.
• Mentor newer team members within an FDE pod.
• Coach client teams on platform capabilities and AI enablement.
• Develop demos/POCs and contribute to proposals and oral presentations.
• Document solutions for smooth handoffs and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor other FDEs through design/code reviews and contribute reusable components.
