Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior GenAI Scientist II – Risk to join a recently formed team focused on Model Risk and Responsible AI. You will apply AI/ML/GenAI expertise to real-world healthcare problems, delivering impact through model validation, monitoring, and governance.

This remote role requires deep technical knowledge and collaboration across teams. The role involves building production-grade AI deployments, evaluating bias, and driving responsible AI practices while contributing to business

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research covering Advanced Statistics, Machine learning and AI.
• Experience with NLP techniques including transformers, fine-tuning LLMs, measuring/benchmarking and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, LLAMA/Mistral and OpenAI, vector databases.
• 5+ years of hands-on data science/AI experience, using pandas, scikit-learn, keras, nltk, and TensorFlow/PyTorch, GPU.
• General understanding of Responsible AI (RAI), including explainability (XAI), AI NIST RMF, and related AI risk management frameworks.
• Experience in evaluating models for bias/fairness using SHAP/LIME, and knowledge of model governance and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions that help clients identify payment integrity issues and improve healthcare outcomes.
• Conduct model validation for benchmarking and drift assessment to support model risk management.
• Benchmark and potentially rebuild models using updated data and newer algorithms.
• Advance model monitoring, metadata management, and related tools and approaches.
