Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Staff Generative AI Scientist to apply advanced AI techniques to healthcare data, driving improvements in quality and cost reduction. You will work with a team of analysts, clinicians, and engineers, delivering end-to-end AI solutions from data exploration to production deployment.

You will lead ML/AI initiatives, collaborate across Research and Development, Operations, and Product, and contribute to Cotiviti's evolving ML platform while maintaining flexibility for

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research.
• Experience with NLP transformers, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, Llama/Mistral and OpenAI, vector databases.
• 7+ years of hands-on data science/AI experience, using pandas, scikit-learn, keras, nltk, and TensorFlow/PyTorch, GPUs.
• Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed datasets.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences is a plus.
• Passion for collaboration, learn it all mindset and driving value with AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AI solutions to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce costs.
• Work with stakeholders to assess value and risks of ML/AI problems.
• Prepare final trained models and validation test sets for QA.
• Deploy models into production and monitor performance with operations.
• Collaborate with other data science teams on projects and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to design sessions to improve Cotiviti's ML platform.
• Provide end-to-end value-based solutions including data pipelines and model deployment.
